　　第29届奥运会官方网站于2007年11月22日至12月21日开展“2007年度北京奥运十大新闻评选”活动。活动期间，参与者可登陆北京奥运会官方网站（www.beijing2008.cn）及其它承办网站参与投票。

　　2007年是北京奥运会筹办工作的决战之年，也是取得突出成果的一年。一年里北京奥运会奖牌正式发布，火炬路线揭开神秘面纱，火炬手招募如火如荼，“好运北京”体育赛事顺利进行……奥运筹办的各方面发生了具有重大意义的新闻事件。本次评选活动将通过对这些事件的回顾和总结，全面展示北京奥运会筹办工作取得的重大成就，抒发全国各族人民喜迎奥运的热情。

　　本次评选活动将公布20条候选新闻供网友投票。北京奥运会官方网站以中、英、法三种语言版本发布候选新闻。网友可在线投票评选出您心中的十大奥运新闻。最终评选结果将在网友投票的基础上经过专家评审团审核确定，并于年底揭晓。

　　同时，第29届奥运会官方网站还将同期推出“2007年北京奥运十大热点词汇评选”、“2008年北京奥运十大心愿征集”活动。通过网友投票，最终产生10大奥运心愿和10大奥运热点词汇。具体参与途径与评选办法与十大新闻相同。

　　为感谢网友支持，活动评选过程中，官方网站将每天随机抽取20名参与者，送出精美纪念品。

　　本次活动由国务院新闻办公室网络局、北京市网管办、北京奥组委新闻宣传部主办，北京奥运会官方网站、青岛奥帆委网站、香港奥马公司网站、人民网、新华网、中国网、中国经济网、央视国际网络、中国日报网站、国际在线、中青网、中新网、中国广播网、搜狐网共同承办。

 

(BEIJING, November 22) -- The official website of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games will hold a campaign to select "2007 Top Ten News Stories on Olympics" from November 22 to December 21, 2007.

As a web user, you can register at the website (www.beijing2008.cn) and participating websites to vote for your favorite stories.

2007 is full of decisive preparations for the Beijing Olympics and a year of remarkable achievements. Many significant events happened in 2007, such as the official unveiling of the Games medals and the planned route of Olympic torch relay, the recruitment of torchbearers, the successful operation of the Good Luck Beijing sport events ... This campaign will display the major achievements of the Olympic preparatory work and express the joy of the people of all ethnic groups in China to welcome the Olympics, through the review and sum-up of the events.

Here we provide a total of 20 candidate stories for which you can vote. The stories are released in Chinese, English and French. You can select the top ten stories you like most. On the basis of public voting, the panelists will assess and check the final entries and the results will be unveiled at the end of the year.

Concurrently, the official website will stage a campaign to select "2007 Ten Most Frequently Used Words Related to the Beijing Olympics" and a campaign to seek "2007 Top Ten Wishes for the Beijing Olympics." Their selection and appraisal methods are the same as those for the selection of Top Ten News Stories.

To appreciate the web users' support, the website will randomly draw 20 participants daily and send them nice souvenirs.
